Birthday Party Weekend

Kaitlyn was a busy girl this weekend, attending birthday parties for 2 of her friends. On Saturday (June 6th), we went to Addison Darby's (our friends Phil and Char's daughter) 1st birthday party. Kaitlyn had a lot of fun splashing in the pool, playing in the bounce house and rummaging for candy after the pinata was busted open. Addie made a mess with her first cake and was less interesting in eating it than pushing it off the table.

On Sunday (June 7th), we went to Jacob Isip's (our neighbors Marvin and Rowena's son) 4th birthday party. Kaitlyn enjoyed making (and eating) her own cupcake and pizza, doing the various arts & crafts projects and pushing Jacob's shopping cart around the house and backyard. Getting a group picture with kids isn't easy as demonstrated by the picture below which was the only picture I was able to take before Kaitlyn started crying and wanting "Up!"
